Calculation and what counts
Articles need relevance of at least 70 and a characteristic match with AI confidence of at least 75. Matching rules were revised for coverage from August 24, 2026; earlier matches use the previous rules. A blocked or reversed measure may still appear as reporting about that measure, not as a new completed action. Each unique article counts once in the daily total, even when it matches several characteristics. Separate articles about the same event can each count.
- Count matching articles by publication day within your selected period and publishers.
- Average the three highest daily counts, or all available days if fewer than three exist.
- Divide that average by the fraction of available publishers selected. With all publishers selected, the fraction is one.
- Cap the adjusted average at 75, divide by 75, multiply by 100, and round to the nearest whole number.
